In 2010, she graduated from the Faculty of Rehabilitation of Riga Stradins University and acquired professional bachelor’s degree in Medical Care with a qualification in ergotherapy.
During the studies she represented the faculty at international conferences and workshops as well as participated in the exchange programme LLP/ERASMUS in Tallinn, Estonia, where she obtained her first international experience, improved her English and cooperation skills.
After graduating from the university she went to Spain to learn Spanish, find out more about its culture and teach English in order to broaden her mental outlook.
After returning to Latvia, in spring 2013, she started working as ergotherapist at Riga Social Service where she developed her professional experience and also obtained knowledge and understanding of social services available in Latvia, organising of social help and related legislation.
Passion for languages and other cultures led her to work in a tourism sector as a successful project manager organising working seminaries for tourism professionals in Latvia and Central Europe for several years. Work in an international and dynamic environment has given an invaluable experience in organising events, leading business communication and business marketing. In 2017, she started working for Norwegian Air Shuttle Group Booking Spanish Department as a corporate customer support specialist.
Due to varied professional skills Liga started working for the Radiosurgery Centre Sigulda as an administrator in April 2018.
